Rhythm Is a Minimal, Two-Family House by Apollo Architects & Associates
Rhythm is a minimal home positioned in Toyko, Japan, designed by Apollo Architects & Associates. The 2-family house options separate dwelling areas whereas the outside facade holistically integrates the traits of every family.
The primary residence is occupied by two dad and mom and their daughter with a primary flooring dwelling and eating space enclosed by cedar textures and naked concrete partitions. The second and third flooring are visually indifferent from the road and embrace separate rooms for every grownup, permitting for independence between the dad and mom.
The daughter’s residence contains a central courtyard between the entrance and internal areas, in addition to a bridge on the second flooring. The bed room and toilet face one another throughout the courtyard with the intention to guarantee privateness. The second flooring contains a double-height atrium with skylights, making a light-filled house that maintains privateness.
