Harness the Power of the Environment With the Iceberg Sofa

Through the creation of their Iceberg Sofa, furniture brand Fnji harnesses the power of design to help give voice to the environment. With a focus on global warming and the harm that accompanies it, they continuously use their brand and designs to bring awareness to the environmental protection our planet so desperately needs.

Directly inspired by the organic wind- and frost-made forms of its namesake, the Iceberg Sofa is related to the Mountain Sofa, of the Fnji Crestline collection, that was released in 2019. Its well-defined seating surface, backrest, and armrests tell the story of its formation, while the sold black walnut base represents the disappearing of the iceberg itself. Six independent blocks interlock with one another to create the sofa’s unique form that are upholstered in multipurpose Kvardat Fiord wool fabric to create a fluid design that’s also comfortable.
