Moment MagSafe Cases and Mounts for Apple iPhone 12

Mobile photography accessory maker Moment makes what we already believe to be some of the best supplemental accessories designed for the iPhone when it comes to still photography and video. Their products  strike the balance between adding function without subtracting too much from the original form. Moment’s new collection includes a selection of exclusive mounts utilizing a notable new feature built into this latest generation of iPhones – MagSafe – permitting an entirely new way to connect the iPhone 12 to tripods, lights, microphones, car vents or wall with the use of super strong magnets.

Both the new Apple iPhone 12 and 12 Pro already come equipped with excellent imaging capabilities, especially the Pro iteration with its inclusion of LiDAR and a third telephoto lens. No doubt these devices will become popular amongst mobile photographers, videographers, vloggers and the general public. What these latest models offer that no other iPhone previously included is a magnetic mounting solution built into the phone for simplified secure attachment. Moment’s MagSafe Collection builds upon that system with a selection of six different mounts: a Tripod Mount, Pro Tripod Mount, Cold Shoe Mount, Wall Mount, Car Vent Mount and a Multi Threaded Mount.

The collection of MagSafe mounts arrives alongside the announcement of MagSafe-compatible iPhone cases, one thinner and lighter, the other more  robust and rugged against mishaps.

Each of the mounts use Moment’s own proprietary (M)Force magnet array, which Moment claims is even stronger than standard Apple accessories, something we are particularly interested to put to the test using their low profile car mount.
