Design Your Own Flat Weave Rug with Beni Rugs
Beni Rugs has released their first collection of customizable flat weave rugs that merge Brazilian Modernism and Bauhaus design. The new collection gives you the choice between ten background and line colors and whether or not to include tassels. Or go completely rogue and come up with your own creative design! Beni has gotten the ball rolling with 19 preloaded designs, each one dyed, woven, washed, and dried in the Atlas Mountains. Sizes range from 3’x5′ to 12’x15′ and are typically delivered within 8-10 weeks.
In the midst of COVID-19, the Moroccan duo behind the brand had to get creative when shooting the new collection – in fact they didn’t shoot it at all. Instead Beni partnered with illustrator Charlotte Taylor, founder of Maison de Sable, to bring their vision to life through renderings. Victor Roussel, a CGI artist based in Paris, produced this photorealistic shoot that was inspired by a Brazilian Modernist-meets-Bauhaus villa set in Morocco’s Sahara desert.
